Night Sparrow's Confusion Song

October 9, 2009 1:45 PM

My foray into composing music electronically.

This is my first composition using Buzzmachines and Audacity. It's an instrumental, for now. I won't go into what the song's about, unless you're curious to know.

I'd like to share it with you guys, but also I'm hoping that you could offer your opinions and suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty good for a first track. Some good sounds there.

As for suggestions: perhaps morphing the sounds as the song progresses would work well with this track. And/or building it up more (adding more layers perhaps?)

I think you're right. There's a lot of empty space in this piece, and it could use a bit more cohesiveness. Adding more layers to it is definitely a go, now that I've learned how to make Audacity a mixer. Thanks for your suggestions.

I just wish I could get Hydrogen to export drum tracks properly, because Audacity can't seem to record them for whatever reason.

how many drum channels were there? Because Audacity can only record 2 at a time
