Quantum Shift

Cortex mentioned in MeTa that he'd like it if people made some more posts to MeFi Music. Here ya go! I created this about 10 years ago.

This was created using a Roland MC-303 Groovebox, a couple effects processors, and Cubase digital recording software. I recorded this song along with 7 others as an album that I gave out as Christmas presents in '99.

The real purpose of the project was to teach myself as much as possible about the software and hardware I had within a set time limit. I learned a lot in the process, especially that creating and playing music is a hell of a lot simpler than recording and preserving it.

I recorded this under the name Otaku. (No relation to the band that now exists by the same name) The album name is Prototype. If people don't hate this maybe I'll add some other songs I made around the same time.

Has a Blue Room-ish quality about it...

Yay! I don't hate it, and I say go for it.
