Have you ever funked an elf?

Funk is elusive. If I find the following songs "funky", what else might get my funk on? Herbie Hancock - Rockit Prince - Sign 'o the Times I think I'll leave it there so that the door is wide open.

While not a definitive answer to you query, I always run to the BASS when I need to get some funk on.

Don't forget about Mike Muir from Suicidal Tendencies...

As far as newer funk, it's almost impossible to go wrong with anything featuring two Wootens.

Like you say Zenabi funk is elusive. Also subjective. Personally I think this and this is almost definitive.....
