this style is not really my cup of tea wolfy, but man, i can sure appreciate the fine playing! great guitar tone, guitar and bass licks, excellent percussion! actual music, as opposed to sample loops and background noise, seems rare around here. thanks for this! posted by quonsar at 2:48 PM on

Man, Wolfdog, that's rock alright. I can totally see you thrashing up on stage. I'd pay to see it, actually. posted by muddgirl at 9:17 PM on

It's not my alloy of metal either, but I can definitely respect its awesomeness. That's a kickass set of riffs you have there, and powerful playing. Rock on, sir. posted by Schlimmbesserung at 7:04 PM on

Something pulled the compass wrong, somehow we got lost
In a wonderland of lovers' songs, our selves in leaping fountains tossed
A child with a mirror came flashing danger's light
for the sake of weeds in summer grain
for spears' points and wolves' teeth
for long fangs sharp and white
It is night
Now the soul speaks
loudest and longest
The poets tell their best lies
Shattered lay the written stone overturned the law
The serpent on the eagle's throne, the lamb at the lion's paw
Silver-voiced the future called, Lady Destiny
An eyeblink, the hammer falls for lightning philosophy
Ah... Yes... Yes and Amen
It is night
Now the eyes of life
Shine bright gold
Glitter darkly and call
Followed by the north star, the axis in our wake
Each one his own avatar, lamb at the crooked stake
We will show you fear in a handful of dust
The dread land of change is near, archetypes in rust
It is night, but soon to end
give way to sunrise, the dawn
Now the stars hide
Blood fills the valleys full
The mist burns away
Heaven is looking down
The eye of eyes
Celestial jewel
