I'm Worried About You

Here's my new band, Medicine Bone, from our official first gig at Velvet Sun in Ogikubo, Tokyo, February 27, 2010. Ken Shima is on guitar, and sings plenty of his own tunes in the band too: it's a collaborative effort. This is one of my tunes, though, a blues. Video of this same performance at YouTube.

my own mother's got no use for me
and my wife's been giving me the third degree

now things look bad for me i'll admit
but it's mostly just people talkin' shit
am i scared? no not a bit
i'll rely on my good looks and my wit

The walking drum again! Geez, flapjax, you and your bands. I'm starting to suspect you are not an individual but an union of flapjax at midnites.

Not to make too big a deal of it, but it's difficult enough to play drums while singing, let alone while standing up. Pretty damn awesome. That drum rig of yours is pretty awesome too. What would be the snare has a really bitchen slap to it and the bass, a really sweet bump/thump.
Great stuff man. Congrats on the new band!
