Been listening to a lot of great demos and rough tracks here lately, which has given me the courage to post one of my early attempts at home recording, just putting a melody over some chords.

I can't really explain why I find this track so awesome--it just is. It's perfect background music. The repetitive guitar melody never gets old. For some reason, I'm reminded of a dusty road, a beat-up old car, and summer skies.

I guess I like the simplicity of the song partnered with the emotion of the melody. I'm definitely looking up the rest of your stuff. :)

Thanks! I'm going to post more of this type of stuff when I get time. Before I got into my current band I was doing it a lot, just trying to get a feel for putting together songs. Rigth now everything's been going into the rock n' roll...
