Party in the CPK

Accordion and ukulele duet, covering Miley Cyrus. Enjoy!

Another in our series of primitive recordings. The music and lyrics are mostly from memory. Done in one take on a laptop keyboard microphone. With audacity! Sweet free audacity.

I really liked the personal aspect of the cover, wherein you decided to take the lyrics and make them your own, such as in the line "Nodding my head, like chyeah" or the line "Moving my hips, like chyeah".

I'm not familiar with the original (I've been saying that a lot around here tonight) (and I'm amused that Corduroy is apparently a big Miley fan) but this is fun.

What's the total elapsed time between getting the idea and the completed piece?

Perhaps fifteen minutes. We usually just agree on the chords and basic format then play it 2-3 times recording all of them, the best take makes it.
Thanks for the feed back.
