If I can teach myself how to use AutoCad by Wednesday, I will be employed. If not, the search must continue.

AWESOME!

OK- the snap toolbar is your friend, you can learn the keyboard shortcuts later. Typing @10,20 moves your curser 10 units right, and 20 units up of your last position, and @10<2 0 moves your curser 10 units in radius, and 20 degrees in angle from your last position. got it? good, you're set.br>
(at least you have your music career to fall back on :)</2>

Yeah, cortex, the guy's been putting off my second interview for a couple weeks, now. That bastard. At least an unemployment check is headed my way, soon.

You don't need to type "@", you can just indicate the direction you want to go with your mouse and type the numbers in the keypad.

Long term strategy: (assuming you're right handed) use your right hand to type, and your left to draw with the mouse. That way your hand stay right on top of keypad. It took me about a week to switch to left handed mouse work, but it was totally worth it - I'm faster on the aCad than most people in my office, and my back feels much better.
