Heavily manipulated wall of vocal harmony, runover, stabbed, and buried in a shallow grave.

Another recording from the Waltz #2 project, though at a casual listen you'd never know.

Started off as a well-intentioned bid at recording some straight harmony vocals—four or five parts as possible backing for a straightforward rendition of the song—but the vocals didn't do much for me once I'd recorded them.

And so I mashed the hell out of them. Heavy filtering, reverb, delay, filtering, reversals, and so on. The separation between the channels is pretty distinct and weird: try headphones!

Nice, mate, very nice indeed. And that stabstabstab tag is brilliant. We all should have a stabstabstab song.

This is perfect for my new science fiction epic.

...

I lied, there is no epic. But if there were...

These vocals are if you put Heroes and Villians by Brian Wilson through the wringer. I like where this is going, you could do something very cool with this track.

This song makes me think of background musit for The King of All Cosmos. And I dig it.
