Luck, She Sleeps

October 4, 2011 2:15 AM

Another one for all you punctuation lovers out there. We wrote this one wistful evening and the next day joined forces with some Brazilian friends of ours (on the pandeiro, jambe and rhythm guitar) and managed to get this recorded in one 5-hour session. Note: song starts 6-seconds in.

Wake wake wake,
In the morning time

Get get getcha
so high on the vine

Look look look,
He looked it in the eye

Riding waves
Rebel haze
Shot him down
Back in the mines

Concrete town
Power plays
Luck, She sleeps
With the lion, now

Note: song starts 6-seconds in.
