(I Don't Know If I Love You But) I Like Like You A Lot

For when you're trying to find the perfect way to tell your Valentine that you
like like them. Because nothing says romance like contrastive focus reduplication.

It's fun to be around you
And I like it when you smile
And I've felt something about you
For at least a little while
But I don't want to imply
That this is something that it's not
I don't know if I love you
But I LIKE like you a lot
I spell your name with candy hearts
But we just laugh it off
Your voice cracks when you see me
But you hide it with a cough
The stutter in my step
Betrays a flutter in my heart
I'm afraid to say I love you
But I'll LIKE like you to start
I choo-choo-choose to believe
That there's something in between us
That when we catch each other's eyes
Both of our hearts are saying "dang!"
So here I am out on a limb
Hoping you'll sit up in this tree with me
That Valentines will end
With not a whimper but a bang
I like the thing we have right now
But think it could be more
But it makes me pretty nervous
Thinking what could be in store
The L-word's pretty scary
but the L-L-word is not
So I d'know if I love you
But I LIKE like you a lot
