Hmmm

One in Japanese, fellows. I know there are a few of you who speak Japanese out there, so if the lyrics of this song don't really make sense, don't get offended, take it on a "best effort" basis. The lyrics were translated by the girl who sings in it, who is half Mexican, half Japanese. Also, if anyone can provide confirmation that it actually says something, it would be great, all this time we've only been able to hope the words actually say something and they were not taken from a refrigerator manual.

Well, the first virst translates to:

When re-installing the fluid drive, you must adjust the clutch lever as shown in figure S-7. First, loosen the cam bolt locknut. Hold the solenoid plunger all the way down (retracted) and adjust the cam bolt until you have 1/8" of space between the lever end and the solenoid plunger extension (Figure S-7.) Then tighten the cam bolt locknut, but be careful not to tighten it too much. You don't want it to bind the movement of the lever.

Man, isn't that girl eloquent. I don't think we phrased it as beautifully in the original language. *sighs* I'm glad we got her to translate it and not that expensive guy from the embassy, who surely wouldn't have been half as poetic.

That's pretty damn fun. Friggin ba threw me there for a second. Now I wish I spoke Japanese all of a sudden.

I like this. I'd always wished the "Japanese Girl Vocalist/indie-rock" trope touched upon the lo-fi side.
