Smart Bar

If you were ever in that cave below The Metro in the early 90's, tripping balls, you may know what I was trying to get at in this song. Otherwise, just crank it up and enjoy the ride.

That's the place. In the basement was (maybe still is) a bar with a dance floor that stayed open ridiculously late. One night in the afore-mentioned early 90's, I was in there and my brain zigged when it should've zagged. This song captures my impression of the club at that point.

Funny. I've never been there, but one of the guys in my band used to work there. I'll show him the song, see how he reacts.
