Need last minute touring help in NV/CA!

Know of any venues between Reno and Los Angeles that might need a band for this Saturday night?

My band was booked to play in Mammoth Lakes, CA this Saturday (7/21) and we just got notified that the venue is cancelling the gig. We'll already be on the road heading south from a show in Virginia City, NV and we hate to let a good Saturday night pass by.

Any suggestions for places to contact? Reno, Mammoth, Bakersfield, even Sacramento or San Francisco would be great.

We're an Americana Rock band in the vein of Springsteen meets the Cowboy Junkies. Our website is in my MeFi profile and I've got a couple songs on MeFi Music if you want get a feel for our sound.

Did you play at the opera house in Virginia City? Great acoustics in that place (I had my HS graduation there, and worked summers as a tour guide while I was in college).

We were at the Red Dog Saloon in Virginia City. What a terrific town, wish we got to spend more time there. Will have to check out the opera house next time!
