the booster song

Noisy, swirly rock song recorded at our band rehearsal a few weeks ago. Apologies for the bum notes and obvious errors.

'The Booster Song' features in Radiateur's current set; not always something to get the audience on your side. It splices an old, old set of riffs with a re-jigged sample of 'Riding the Booster', triggered via a footswitch at the vital points. Throw in some live looping, a dose of feedback and a few more samples courtesy of a Roland SPD-S and you have this sprawling, clanking epic. Enjoy.

This is pretty well recorded for a rehearsal! The weak point obviously being the drums, a close mic on the snare would perhaps go some way to fixing that.

Guitars sound great though.

Thanks - we're running a Zoom H4N in four-track mode; the guitar (there's only one) and Roland pad get di'd into tracks three and four and the two room mics pick up everything else. It's all balanced a bit in Audacity before being mixed and rendered into mp3.
