I really enjoyed the arrangement on this, the way the various instruments come together. LOVE the brass-ish thing that happens 1 minute in!

What a beautiful, melancholy tune. I love the arrangement, and melissa may's voice captures several shades of sadness and anger. Very nice. And edlundart is right, there's something about that hangdog horn that really adds to the mood.

That horn thing showed up by sleepy pete's doing when he was working on filling out the mix, so it was a total surprise to me when I first heard it and I was like YES, THIS IS CORRECT

I love the mix on this, the way you've set the horns and strings way back in the room but everything else pretty close, like they're sat way back waiting for their moment. It's in no way overpowering even though they're turned up pretty loud. Pretty song too. Lovely understated guitar.

Cortex also, can you stop being good at things because it's not fair on everyone else.
