Sky Flows

Sampled a slack guitar to create a kind of organ-sound.

Contains samples from Darren Benitez - Kiss and Never Tell (slack guitar); and Onda Vaga - Te Quiero (vocals)

Wow, what a long way from your sources. Very cool re-purposing of the sounds. Really clean and fresh feel, like floating in a quiet shaded section of a gorge where the water is flowing deep and slow, but the bubbling rushing falls are still in earshot. Good gentle drive, with a lightness and carefree touch. Production is dynamic and rich for such sparse parts. Really enjoyable.

Ooh I really wasn't expecting where this went. I really like it.

This feels nice. I could see it playing over a night party sequence in a good indie film, where people are having a good time but there is some dark undertone to the evening. How did you achieve the bass sound? It's kind of like half bass half kick drum, I think? It sounds super deep in the nicest way.

Love this, like a much more subdued M83 (especially that vocal sample - love the sources, btw).
