song 2

sun rises, no one left to save
sun rises, no one left to save
goodbye, circus be my grave
don't know, but i fare thee well
don't know, but i fare thee well
call me in heaven cause they don't have phones in hell
old man whiskey led me to this place
old man whiskey led me to this place
circus gave me money, circus took my face

I really appreciate that you make this music. It's always disorienting and scary, but also somehow familiar and comforting at the same time. It is a contradiction of itself. It reminds me of a lot of different bands and sounds and eras and moods but doesn't sound quite like any of them. This song, for instance, is such a Frankenstein's monster, I don't even know where to begin.

But you also have these killer lines, like "call me in heaven cause they don't have phones in hell." At least one of those lines in every song. I am honing in to your voice more as an instrument, but when I look up and read the lyrics, that's what always strikes me: wow, what a turn of a phrase.
