Goddam, son. Beautiful. There's a great feeling of minimalist fullness, if that makes any sense: just enough in the arrangement (the piano, the tremelo vibe) to really hit that Oh Hell Yes part of the gut, and not a smidgen more.

I'm still on the RPM fence. I originally recorded this for the new album proper, but now I am not sure.

This is really beautiful and inspriring. Re: minimalist fullness, hell yea. I've always been a fan of simple but meaningful structure and you nailed it. Put me on your fan club mailing list.

I couldn't hear it yesterday, now that I came back to hear it I'm mind blown. It's a really good song, mate. What did you use to record it?

Just an opinion, if you are going to put this song in an album, I think it would make a great hidden track. I think the hiss of the recording serves the mood of this song. Post more, yeah?

micayetoca, it's spanish guitar and vocals live, spaced pair of MXL 990s (LDC) at fret hand (facing down) and near bridge, vocals SM-58 without ball, pop filter in front. Window was open, hence the traffic. Rhodes and piano were VSTs recorded after the fact.
