Plasma Laser Whip

The year is 1998, the air is thick with sweat and the night is slipping deep into the bass. The 303 pulses and squelches, the drum machine kicks the beat and the effects warp our minds. Dawn is coming, but for now it is just us and the crowd and the music and the warehouse....

I wake up, it's 2018. I turn on my gear and transport myself back to a different time, before the destruction of the Bamiyan Statues, before Bush V Gore, 911 and all that came after and remember an age where everything felt solvable and possible and all that was required was tapping into the better of our human potential...This time I say, "I promise I'll do better..."

yup. I can almost feel that burn in my lungs about 6 mins in. That burn was asthma but I didn't know that at the time. Just what being monstrously alive felt like.
