Fleets

Up until last fall I played guitar in a band here in the D.C. area called Cartel. (Later we changed our name to Cedars because of trademark issues.) This song was from our demo, which was recorded by Jason Caddell of the late, great Dismemberment Plan. I'm no longer in the band and they trudge on without me. But it was fun while it lasted -- we opened for some pretty cool bands such as Stellstarr*, Giant Drag, Sea Ray and Trash Can Sinatras. In case you're wondering, that's not a keyboard in the song, just my guitar and a pretty odd delay.

this is really good stuff. funny you mention opening for sea ray, because we opened for them once, too--really great guys and good music. a shame they broke up.

This is great heminator, thanks. In fact it's so great that while I was listening to it I burned a pan of muffins. It was worth it.
