I have no idea what a beat slicer is, but this sounds cool.
It analyzes a piece of music and kind of cuts it up into slices for you. It's the sort of thing I was doing by hand, when I chopped up the BASSFIGHT mp3s to get little pieces of them that I could recombine into something else.
