In honor of the upcoming first day of school, here is a song about the pressures of the morning.

Same. I should set a reminder for a dozen years in the future to remember these times, then immediately go out on the deck.

very amusing audio representation of that blurry tired window of "get the f out the door it's almost 7am". the ending is like getting ready for work after part 1 is done. now put this on loop for about 16 years.

Haha, yeah, I actually have seen people with grown kids go for a Round 2. Terrifying!

People tell me I will miss this part of my life once my kids are grown up. I'll take that sentimental remembrance gladly in exchange for a nice peaceful morning in which I sip a coffee on the deck, listening to birds in zen-like relief.
