Apophenia by Phantom West

"What boldness we sanction / What feats we imagine / But what would have happened / If Mike Collins came home alone?"

Apophenia sounds to me a little like someone threw The Cure, late-80s shoegaze, 90s alternative, and just a little bit of prog into a blender.

It's been a long time since I posted on MeFi music, and any promotion of my last album which came out in 2017 got derailed as a close relative was gravely ill. I hope you like Apophenia, and if you do, I think you'll like the rest of the album which is available today on Bandcamp.

I don't have much of a vocabulary for this kind of music, but I liked how it washed over me!

Dang, this makes me miss live music. Love the deep drama of the whole album.
