I reaaaally like the sound of the drums, specially the ones at the beginning, how did you do it? posted by micayetoca at 5:03 AM on

The drums in the song are a combination of a spliced loop and some one-shot hip-hop drum synth as well. Most of their sound is just due to the effects on them. They go back and forth from being awashed in a milky reverb to overdriven. posted by ageispolis at 10:06 AM on

The refrain is really catchy, and there are fun touches in this. I enjoyed listening. I would say though that the production is "confused" and could be tightened up a lot, especially how you treat the vocals. The mix needs a better sense of hierarchy. Of course, it's a demo, so I should probably just not take things so seriously and enjoy a fun track. posted by edlundart at 3:27 PM on

The drums sound so good - makes me wish it were just drums and vocals, like one of Scout Niblett's songs. posted by Ira.metafilter at 4:54 PM on
