She's Not Thinking About You

A glum, minimalist tune about the feeling you get when you're sure that all the thought you are putting into that special someone is not being returned

I told flapjax at midnite I would upload some of my ancient stuff where all the sounds derive from analog sources. Terrible recordings made on an ancient Radio Shack boombox back in my apartment dwelling bachelor days. Historical note of interest - it turned out she was after all. And now we're married. Which just goes to show... something.

Love it! The lyrics is perfect. So's your comment. And your tags.

...which goes to show the power of good music. If it was me, she wouldn't be thinking about me long after I gave her the song ; )

I like that raw, analog sound in general. I like that repetitive pattern of the lyrics in particular and I like the "piece" overall. It kinda reminds me to "Here She Comes Now," by the Velvet Underground. Which in my world is definitely a good thing.

micayetoca is right about the Here She Comes Now vibe.

It also has a Neutral Milk Hotel feel to it.

Gooooooooooood.
