Bird Stealing Bread

Since it's all the rage, here's a cover.

This is a cover of the Iron and Wine song "Bird Stealing Bread". I broke the D string on my nylon stringed guitar, and was trying to figure out what I could play without it. To my relief I found this, because it will probably take me a while to restring. Plus, with my pinky free I could do some cool things I couldn't do before.

I had never heard the original. I looked it up in youtube, and I I'm torn now: I couldn't say which one I like the most. You definitely made it your own.

And your voice still reminds me of the early Pink Floyd. Or perhaps is both your voice and guitar playing that remind me of Syd Barret.

This is wonderfully simple but sounding pretty finished with the guitar knocking percussion. Sweet.
