A little two-chord reverie that shuffles around for a bit and then disappears.

It's not much of a song, but I'm really glad that I had time to work on something for this month's Challenge.

Good job. The opening reminded me of Twin Peaks. I like the guitar solo, you play with time there; the phrase implies a double time and then my ear has a nice time when it unravels. Really good quality all around. Did you loop much or did you do all tracks individually?

I was reading that "it's not much of a song" when the song started playing and I thought "you gotta be kidding". It's got a great ambiance, it's not boring and if you ask me, it stands on its own enough that any other chord changes would have been unnecessary. I think this would be a great "hidden" track at the end of an album.

This is really nice. I like the way that this challenge has brought out some looping, hypnotic stuff.

Glad you guys dug it. It was one of those things where I thought, "If I don't do this now, I'm not going to get anything done." It was nice to put the "studio" back together. I would have liked to add a few more tracks, some more percussion, but it just wasn't happening this time. Oh well. (My favorite part, though, is the first lead, the tremolo line; I had no idea my guitar could sound like that.)

Everything except the bass (and leads, obviously) are looped, although some of the loops are quite long (all the electric guitars are just about half the length of the song), and some of them are quite short (the sandpaper is, I think, two bars).

Ha! Challenge very well met! Were it not for the challenge thing, it wouldn't even occur to me that there are only two chords. You might have to take back the "not much of a song" thing!

As for the song itself; it's sooo smooth. It's a total Sunday drive on country roads.

This is sounds great, great guitar playing and your vocals were really good in this one, it took me awhile to realize that it was your voice.

Your voice makes me think of a mix between chococat and inoculatedcities. Very nice. The last section of this song really got me. Nice sandpaper, too.

I think the song may have benefited from the lack of percussion and general sparseness.. its appeal is in its casualness, if that makes sense. The guitars and vocals are understated but still pretty chopsy and confident. I like it a lot man.. makes me think of something dntel would do if he ever actually picked up a guitar.
