Experimental/Low-Fi, Un-ironic Nerdcore Hip-Hop
DIY beat made with old casio keyboard, hitting a bed with my fist, and hitting my leg with my palm.
Lyrical theme: 23 year old science/philosophy nerd (me) experiencing existential estrangement and absurdity, depression, and isolation in North Philly.
A preliminary attempt in my quest to create a new sub-genre of experimental/low-fi Hip-Hop inspired by the innovations Captain Beefheart, the Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, and others made in Rock.

I like the sound. Rapping is hard, in my opinion, not just anyone can pull it off, but your voice sounds very good, and I'm a fool for lo-fi, so of course I really like the rest of the track. Welcome here. Do post more.

Yay for Metafilter stepping it up a notch on the experimental/underground hiphop! I don't check in for a while and look what happens! Great track.

Cool basic beat, do more. Kick drum sound is retarded. I think that means it's good.
