Ylang

July 20, 2010 7:13 PM

Derived from Tagalog from the word ilang, meaning "wilderness", this song is secretly about pants.

The inaugural track from An Evening With... Volume 4, this isn't the beginning of the end; it's the end of the middle.

For this track, we actually agreed on a rough key beforehand, and I tuned the bongos accordingly.

Timbill (me, Timbill Corder): Makeshift Bodhrán, Bongos
Tréteque (man vs sun, V. Y. Beauregard III): Flaut
Pheatherwäit (pheatherwait, Melissa Burcham): Floot
Maĵor Tom (Tommy Scheurich): Cello
