Keep Your Hands to Yourself (Sketch 1) (Georgia Satellites cover)

March 19, 2012 9:50 PM

I've been kicking around the idea doing a cover of this song for years now. Finally, I'm getting around to laying down sketches.

This is the second sketch. For contrast, I'll post the first sketch sometime soon. The funny thing is, I'm imagining turning the song into a reggaeton/dancehall version, and I'm not coming close at ALL with these sketches.

just the mention of reggaeton has that consarn doop-ka-doop-ka, doop-ka-doop-ka, doodoodoodoodoop-ka beat in my head again.

man. this original was a staple of the FM classic rock station i listened to, back when I listened to FM classic rock. I am really intrigued by the idea of dancehallifying it.
