I Shine

CollaborationFilter: I had this song I could never considered finished because it sounded dreadful in my voice. Then I discovered Metafilter Music and here I discovered chococat. Like pretty much everyone else who heard his music, I was blown away. And so I asked him if he would help me out with the song. Cool guy he is, he did. And this is the result.

This is absolutely beautiful! This is very short, but I like 'em that way. I'll just listen over and over again! Very well done my Mefite friends!

This is a very poignant piece. When and if I ever piece together a film, I'll be calling for permission to use this.

snsranch consider the permission to use it on your film granted, when you put it together I'll give it to you in writing to keep you safe from my lawyers ; ). Also consider me flattered that you would use it on a film.

I just found this through chococat's "Miss Me in the Morning" -- this is a great song! I really like the lyrics and the repetition. I write a lot of short song lyrics myself. It's nice sometimes to hear songs that have no fat.

I love this kind of collaboration, just love it. Also, I love that it's so short - short songs are rare these days.
