Can I play flamenco? by Admira

Second in the "Can I play" series... I'm not formally trained in flamenco in any way shape or form, and listening to professional flamenco players and then this reveals that I can't play flamenco. But I did want to call it Faux Flamenco so I guess it sits in that style well enough.

In fact its really bad - since I use a pick in the first section! In my defence, I don't have nails.

stopping by woods by edlundart

Back in either middle school or high school, in music class, I wrote my very first melody with a classmate named Mathias Knutzen. The assignment was to take a text from one of our books and create a song with it. We chose Robert Frost's poem and came up with this pseudo-jazzy tune. I always liked it, so I kept the "digital chord sheet" around and played it from time to time. More than 15 years later, here now is a brand new recorded version -- complete with brushed drums and falsetto background vocals.

Apfel Augen by Corduroy

This is an instrumental, and the "biggest" song I've ever tried to record. It has some really nice vocals by Leah Wilmoth (who sang in my last upload), and a CACGBC tuned guitar. Also a banjolele. I haven't heard it on speakers, yet. I would love to hear any thoughts on this piece.

Japonisme (1) by flapjax at midnite

I took an old 45rpm of a Japanese folk song and started dropping the needle. Took those bits, sliced 'em up and moved 'em around a little, then added some synth and electric piano, some udu and guiro. Et voila! Le Japonisme!
