Nirvana- Zappa

I know I uploaded a previous version. But now I've completed a solo part with my friends who played lead guitar and pedal steel. The rest is me trying to work out this Zappa tune with my own words, midi instruments, and staying true to the basic idea, western theme, music, but with a 'now' twist. I hope you enjoy it, and send me any thoughts that might occur to your wild elephant mind.

(Hermione Granger) No Stranger to Me

First time I tried to 'write' a song. It's just a silly jokey nerdy number with a few fluffed lines and a sub par singer. At least I didn't go with the rap idea I originally had... and yet some of it still lingers for some reason. Anyway, just a bit of fun, I hope some of you enjoy it.

Turn out the lights

On a glorious Sunday morning I took my guitar down to a grassy patch beside the sea, and proceeded to write and record this song. There's a bit of wind, and birds singing along in the background - but it all adds to the charm. [more inside]

a strange and mysterious adventure

This instrumental track was originally named "Em wrong" because it came out of absentmindedly playing my guitar while watching tv and accidentally strumming an E minor chord incorrectly on the 3rd fret. The resulting song has an uneasy, mysterious vibe. [more inside]
