The Flank of Bridenstein

I had a bit of fun with this: it's about a relationship gone wrong. I believe that the dual bass part is rhythmically interesting. Double bass and synth bass rhythmically intertwine and are coupled with a synth trumpet. There may be some Brian Eno influences a la The Drop. My album is available for $5 download at CD Baby: The Dividing Range. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/theseedsofautumn

Song of the Cane Toad

City Walls and Empires

"When our hearts crumble, sunlight filters through..." Three guitars, trumpet, sax, violin (me), vocal harmonies and rhythm section. My band Institut Polaire recorded this song in February 2006. While we're freezing down here now, we hope this poptastic postcard from Perth (Australia) can be part of a soundtrack for your northern summer.

Portland, Australia Thunder 2001

On the porch of my parents' house in Portland, Victoria. The familiar sound of an electrical fuse box buzzing in the rain and pluvers (birds) in the distance.
