Mouth music: Made for my brother on his bday when I had an Ableton rig but no cash

All noises made from my face, wrangled by various Ableton effects.

Echo

In an effort to become a better singer/songwriter, I need to start posting my work. My sense of embarrassment on mediocre songs will hopefully kick in and force me to start doing a better job to redeem myself. That's the idea, at least. No instruments, as well. This was done entirely with vocals running through a Shure SM-58, then heavily processed and mixed in Garageband. (headphones recommended)

Everything (is on fire)

This is an old song, but it only uses two chords (well, okay, so there's a third, brief chord, but still), and it's taken me four years to get around to the massive amount of hiss reduction the song required to make it postable. Because I'm lazy.

White Lines (a cappella)

These are the sort of things that occur to me as I go for my daily walk. Four-and-five-part harmony plus solo, bass and vocal percussion. Recorded in GarageBand using my MacBook's built-in mic.

Baby One More Time

This thread reminded me that I wanted to cover this horrible, awful song. One of a series of vile covers I've been planning. For my own amusement and hastily thrown together. Don't worry -- I only went as far as the first chorus.

Scooby Doo

Surreal, ridiculous improvised mouth noise collage I made with my little brother several years ago. Inspired to post this by this Eideteker track.

Worse Than Pop - Cell You a Beat for a Nickel

(4:12) In our quest to bring you the lowest in lo-fidelity recordings, this track was recorded over a cell phone, originally for livejournal. Just for fun, I've converted it from a low bitrate .ogg to a low bitrate .mp3. It's not easy on the ears, but then, that's not what Worse Than Pop is about.

This is a little closer to my true sound, though it's not really a full-fledged beatbox. It'll have to do for now. Entirely improvised, just some random beats, and yes, a few slipups (they're meant to be endearing). Hopefully, this will inspire better efforts in the genre to be uploaded to HiFi.

Worse Than Pop - We Can Clone Knight Rider Fans, We Have the Techno

I am a lonely man, with only Audacity for company.
This is my first attempt at a multitrack recording. I don't have a real microphone, so it's really lo-fi. I also apparently have no clue how to master, so the levels will scare you. I welcome suggestions, death threats, etc.

Worse Than Pop - Foreign Robot Porno Story (extended segue mix)

This is what happens when you give me a microphone. Worse Than Pop was founded on the principle that if you record an album every week for the rest of your life, eventually, something you record will be noteworthy. I haven't actually gotten to that point yet.
