This is a new piece our band, Falex9, is developing. We didn't know what to do with it lyric-wise until after we finally got a permanent rehearsal room in Seattle and realized how happy we were that we didn't have to lug our gear around anymore. The song may have a slightly deeper meaning in the future as we refine the lyrics / music. Either way, it's been a fun playing it.

First song off of the new People Will Blink record. This song was written about 3 years ago and went through many transformations before it began to sound... well... listenable. When we played this song live, Azeem used a vocoder during the bridge. He forgot it in California when we recorded, so we used a clarinet, melodica, and recorder in it's place.

A 1 minute, 43 second ditty. This was the first thing I did when I got Garage Band 2 years ago. All the drum loops are stock, and I'm riffing on bass & "lead" bass. I improvised over the groove until I got something I liked, then looped it.

FERB - 'Funky Electronic Rhythm n' Blues' is a little blues track I wrote and performed for a small class gig we did last year for the sake of putting on a show and having some random musical collaborations. I'd classify this as the first gig I ever did but fortunately I had some incredibly talented guys in the band to make me sound good!
