Posting this as a companion piece to Uncleozzy's used car salesman track. It's a demo that I never really finished because it sounds like an outtake from Pretzel Logic. One of those unpleasant realisations that dawns on you when you've nearly finished something and you go "Ohhhh fuuuuck....". But it did amuse me to include a sly nod to Rikki Don't Lose That Number in the chorus (the bass line), which of course itself is a nod to Horace Silver's Song For My Father. While looking for riffs for the Aug challenge, I unearthed this oddity from about 2003. At the time I was addicted to Boss COSM amp/effect sims, and the results are quite interesting. The track itself is derivative white-boy funk schlock that sounds like the advert soundtrack for a bucket-shop holiday outfit. A load of Balearics, in other words.... [more inside]

A poorly recorded and very early demo of, I think, may be a promising track. Anyone think it's worth re-recording? If so, suggestions about edits/arrangement/modulations/translocations/ululations/deletions of discombobulations are welcome. [more inside]
