Sorry it's a little quick and dirty. I wrote this poem a few weeks back, and it seemed like today was a good day to record it in some fashion. Dedicated to Kurt, who's up in heaven now.
About the song: It's just spoken word which i put over a little song i wrote in high school called "so it goes." It get's kinda noisy in parts, especially the outro. Hope you enjoy.

Given that there are many Jeff Buckley tributes already out there, and that I wasn't really that familiar with his work until not too long ago, I thought I would write an homage to someone I didn't really know - and plagiarize some of the existing tributes in the very first line.

Written and performed by my old band - Hooray For Everything. This was included in a Simpsons tribute album that sold a boatload of copies. We recorded this in 1997, I think. We began with the lyrics from the song used in the original "Flaming Moe" episode (http://www.snpp.com/episodes/8F08.html) and then made the song our own...
