Zillion was a game for the Sega Master System. This is a song from the game (which you can see/hear here -- this song starts about 17 seconds in). I have, however, added lyrics, which are about the game's lack of a save function. With 77 tracks of tiny instruments, this song is probably my grandest musical venture yet.

I wrote this in 2004 as a goodbye to the web-game, Game Neverending, which I'd been really into in the preceding period. Bobbleton was probably the most popular location in the game. At the time I was also interested in the chip-music aesthetic of 32-bit games consoles and the work of Nobuo Uematsu and this track was a sort of experiment in trying to achieve that aesthetic without using the consoles themselves.

A song based off of the greatest statements ever made by one Matthew Lavallee, circa 1988. He was a pudgy preteen, introducing himself to one of my friends for the first time. He extended his hand for a shake, and uttered the titular line.
