Three Prayers in Irish Gaelic: I. Ár nAthair

July 15, 2007 7:28 PM

Way, way back, I posted a request on Usenet for translations of some Catholic prayers into Irish. I wrote a vocal work with those translation for a composition class. For this recording, I used the solo cello sample in Reason and let MIDI take care of the rest. The harmonies weren't part of the original score.

Sure would love to hear this:

A) Played on a real cello (celli?)
B) With the Gaelic vocal!

Cause it's very pretty, but it also gave me the MIDI-file blues.

Seconding F@M here. This is very pretty, but SUCH A FUCKIN' TEASE!!!1!!!

I don't even mind the sample or midi, that's cool, but I won't be able to sleep now WITHOUT THE VOCAL!

(get crackin' son)
