An ambient guitar/bass/string jam. None of this is real.
I didn't really live through the Eighties, but I'm pretty sure this it what it might have sounded like.
Warning: Song is epic long. It's got some variety to it, though.

I like this quite a bit. The game Lemmings for the PSP is full of this kind of ambient zone-out music and I found I actually enjoyed some of the the music as much as the game. You've probably answered this somewhere else before; what software/hardware/etc are you using?
