The Crane

This is a song I've loved for a long time by the Minneapolis band Trip Shakespeare. For some reason, now felt like a good time to cover it.

umbu, your voice sounds exceptional in this song. I love it! Intriguing lyrics. Anywhere I can find the original?

Again, amazing sounding vocals. I really like the vulnerable half-falsetto. All of it works really well with the bare guitar. Wonderful!

Catchy and calming. I like your simplified, Elliott Smith-ish take on the original.

Effin' GRRREAT cover! I'd add that to a mixtape in no time flat.

Yes, very nice.
And I've said it before but I love when you can hear the room in a recording. Adds so much for me.

I'm not familiar with the original, but ditto what Corduroy said on that falsetto. Nice sounding recording overal, too -- very organic. Aces!
