i like silence

newest thing i have recorded, still a bit rough about the edges but you get the general idea :]

This is my most recent recording, a friend of mine tried to put drums on it but i hated them. can't decide whether it needs them. if it does, i'm thinking thuddy, on-the-one stuff like the percussion in there atm. Any thoughts?

This was a lot of fun to listen to. Pretty stuff, and it's fast and driving enough that I don't think more percussion would fill anything missing. Great first Music post! Hope to hear more, definitely.

I really liked this - a fun melody and a pretty voice. It's already quite quickly paced and rich textured, it definitely isn't suffering from the lack of a drum track.

Will you be posting any more tracks? I'll look out for them.

The drums you have on there now are great, you don't need a full kit on a song like this. Maybe a sparse tambourine for some percussive top end, in place of whatever back beat you have now. But the "four-on-the-floor" bass drum feel is perfect. Beautiful singing, too.

Thanks guys, that's really encouraging :) much appreciated feedback. I'm heartened by it and i'll try and offer something a little bit more finished next time!
