Bathroom Sink

June 24, 2010 3:20 PM

A short instrumental that employed the cabinet under my bathroom sink as percussion.

I put my laptop inside the cabinet and hit the side of it with my fist. It sounds like someone knocking on a heavy wooden door. I also put my very limited keyboard playing skills to the test.

The vocal samples are me saying, "I do not know" and "Why do I not?" respectively. I just thought they were two phrases that sound cool repeated because they start to sound like "Do not know why" and "I do. Why not?"... respectively.

i never guessed the phonetic content at all - it sounded like some bonkers indian war chant. my speakers didn't like the percussion but i did. i liked the keyboard bits too - i kept thinking of this for some reason.

Oof, that's quite the thump! Around-the-house-percussion is a pretty great thing.

Reminds me of something Pray for Rain might've done for some movie -- both peterkins and I are thinking soundtrack, for some reason.
