This was necessary.

That's the sort of thing I need to tell people when they ask me where I get my ideas or such.

This was easily one of the best uses of a Friday afternoon I've had in a while. Thanks for all the happy reactions.

I was smiling all through, then cracked up helplessly at the 'Love jessamyn'. Wonderful.

Is the jury still out on asshattery vs. asshabidachery?

Goddamn this is a catchy tune. I love the way the "love jessamyn" goes up at the end, suggesting a continuation(?). Sequel? "Dear jessamyn, re: asshattery"?

This song burns in my skull.

I sing it at the most inappropriate times.

I thank you for this.

Not to play the role of Senor Spellcheck...but I believe it is asshaberdashery

This spellchecking has been brought to you by the letter ass. Oh. And the song is awsome.

Ah, thanks for catching my mistake, Frost. Now I'm sorry I pissed on your grave both times I visited it, because really, once would've been enough. ;)

(the song still rocks)

Invocation. Clearly we need more specific meta-commentary songs on Music; metatalk discussions can eventually be reduced to a series of links to specific musical tell-offs.

"127," intoned another of the mathematicians, and the hall grew momentarily silent before erupting in laughter.

"What's that about then," asked the young doctoral candidate.

Replied the professor, "We've never heard that one before!"

I was singing a song in the bath today about the askMe guy who's girlfriend wanted him to take a dump on her, and his request for advice from the 'hive mind'. So I came to musicMeta[?], for the first time, to see how easy it would be to upload. Well technically very easy. But having just heard asshattery I shall have to learn to sing and to play an instrument before doing so. Quite Lovely.

Is this being automatically sent to asshats yet?

In a Facebook group I'm in, people were recently singing the praises of the word "asshat" and I said "Have I got a song for you!" Still fun, almost 9 (!) years later.
