Soul Love

I really won't be able to come up with another / better / thing based on the Bowie song. Too busy fixing the meals, painting the walls, going to the bank... I consider this my back porch approximate version of Soul Love. Some chords (most chords I guess) are only in the vicinity of the original ones. Be kind. It's been recorded while my daughter was taking a nap, I tried not to be too noisy.

Hardly necessary, it's gorgeous. Reminds me of the Sue Jorge digressions from Life Aquatic.

Hey Cortex, it sure sounds a little like the acoustic guitar of Seu Jorge, and that's the reason why I wanted to add an electric guitar, at least over the bridge. Well, I won't be able to record this before the deadline.

Enjoyed this version too. Only real complaint is that I was just drifting away half-listening to it when it stopped! Not immediately recognisable as a cover either which is something I'm on record as capital-L Liking. Cool.
