Wear your Pixel-Socks to the Digi-Hop

February 5, 2014 9:52 AM

Kinda of a bleepy-bloopy little instrumental jam. I'm really kind of fond of this one.

Upon reflection, this tune is more sixties-ish, and sock hops are more fifties-ish, but... close enough.

Recorded and mastered entirely on my OP-1. Everything except for the drums was either played live and looped, or recorded right onto the OP-1's album during mastering. This is why it all sounds a little loose, but the loose feel is part of why I'm so fond of it, so... yeah. There you go.

Yeah, to me, it's like what I imagine '70s "Brazilian" music to be like. It's very "happy people on grainy film walking around a sunny market"!

I really like this.
It reminds me of the album A Psychedelic Guide To Monsterism Island, which is one of my very favorite albums to get work done by.
