(What's so funny about) Peace, Love, & Understanding

I got an urge to do a slower, gospel inspired cover of this song written by Nick Lowe (probably best known for the version popularized by Elvis Costello) and my friend helped me make it happen today in a quick fit of studio fun.

When you unleash your voice like this it's great. It also (for me) hearkens back to the early days of good Ballad Rock, like Nazareth's "Love Hurts" and songs like that. If I were listening to drivetime radio in the car, I wouldn't bat an earlash at this being some famous band doing an in-studio cover.

I also wonder if it's just in the air to cover this song! BlackPebble covered the same song two months ago. Because, yeah, what the fuck! What's so fuckin' funny about it, specially these days! Troubled times... WHERE IS THE SWEET HARMONY! Anyway, thanks for repeating the message. It cannot be said enough. And you did it well.

Thanks! It was so much fun to cut loose for this one. I love how the lyric never comes out and says it, but implicitly demands to know why we make such a mockery of peace, love, and understanding in the real world.

This is great! I've always liked this tune. I totally respect how loud you are projecting it, and the unison parts are right on.

Hey, we need more of this, positive vibes. The world certainly needs peace, love and understanding and hope.
Well done!
