you know the president of the USA
he stepped up to the microphone
and called a man engaged in peaceful protest
a "son of a bitch"
it would appear that the president
doesn’t love or understand
the very principles on which the nation’s founded
that he calls himself the leader
of a nation of freedom
well now ain’t that rich?

now if you think this kind of protest is unpatriotic
you don’t know, my friend,
what American patriotism means
it’s all about being loyal
to the ideals of freedom and justice
not to some dimestore fascist in a baseball cap
who rants and screams
